  17. Hello, young black male here, and I was lead to this post because it sounds like these hremedies can actually have satisfying results… So I have like a mini Afro, and lately whenever I use my metal pick to y’know volumize and attempt to detangle my hair, tiny strands of hair, along with these light-yellow and sort of tannish flakes, come showering down, landing on what I may be hovering over.. So I bought a water and ginger shampoo from SheaMoisture online and also a dandruff conditioner for follow-up use, but in a few hours (3-4) after using both the shampoo and conditioner, my hair is back to square 1. Not as bad as it was before the wash, but increasingly itchy and flakes still existing. I know it may be because I have not applied an moisturizing oil subsequent to the wash, so that may be the culprit there…
but I actually do have some extra virgin coco oil I purchased from Amazon that came packaged in a glass jar, but I abruptly stopped using it after A hair specialist told me it was not good to apply the oil alone…
so since then I have been wondering what I can mix with the oil to relieve, and maybe in due time cure, the little flake shed problem I’ve been experiencing? I want to know your thoughts… I was thinking the coco oil and lemon juice method.. but I’m not sure..
